Who am I?

Not Jean Valjean.

McLain was born in Northern Virginia, and was raised within a house full of performers. She is a triple threat with a passion for acting, musical theatre, and dance. McLain received a BA in Acting from Pace University in NYC in May of 2019. She graduated with Magna honors, and also a minor in Women and Gender Studies.

McLain has training not only in acting, dancing, and singing, but also in devising and has collaborated on various projects. Her creativity also extends to writing and choreography. In May of 2018, McLain's short musical Ripple Effect premiered at 54 Below. She regularly teaches dance classes from ballet to tap, and choreographs for dance studios and various musicals. McLain grew up performing as a competitive dancer, and has an extensive dance background. She has had the opportunity to use her skills from performing as Judy in A Chorus Line, to Fastrada in Pippin. Whether it be a play or a musical McLain is an energetic performer, who loves the power and joy found in theater.
